Master class: ICU Bronchoscopy and More

Amrita Hospital, Kochi is organizing a workshop on " Master Class: ICU Bronchoscopy and More" on 4th November 2023. This workshop aims to train pulmonologists, intensivists, and postgraduate trainees in how to do bronchoscopy, know the anatomy of the airways, insert central and arterial catheters, difficult airway intubation, and percutaneous tracheostomy.  

 

A workstation will be set up to show how to put indwelling pleural catheters and intercostal drains. The workshop also train participants about handling of the bronchoscope, basic techniques of BAL, and advanced training for difficult airway percutaneous tracheostomy.

The course includes step-by-step training on entering the upper airway and the bronchial tree on an anatomic model/ virtual reality bronchoscopy simulator. There will be hands-on training for all procedures on mannequins/ simulators by experts.
