Dr. Vikas Gaur






Dr. Vikas Gaur is an experienced clinician with more than 15 years of experience. He is an alumnus of the prestigious SMS medical college, Jaipur and City university London U.K and has worked in prestigious medical institution such as National Institute of medical Science, Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur as a post-graduate teacher and guide for M.D Psychiatry students, PhD co-guide, professor & head of department, and consultant psychiatrist. Dr Vikas is an Alumni Ambassador at City University of London, UK for India and has served as Vice President of Telemedicine society of India, Rajasthan chapter. He is an avid researcher with several publications in national and international journals. He is a pioneer in Health Informatics and telemedicine, especially in Tele-Psychiatry and has research interests in the diverse fields of computational psychiatry, virtual reality, clinical decision support system, Artificial intelligence, Neural network, cognitive neuroscience, and mental health informatics. He is the only Indian member of an international scientific committee in DocuMental (secure, web-based decision support tool for staff of mental health services). He serves on the editorial board and is also actively involved as a reviewer in various national and international journals.
