Amrita Hospital Kochi organized a free paediatric cardiac screening camp at the Amrita Vidyalayam campus in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu. The camp saw participation from over 200 children, providing them with essential cardiac evaluations.

During the camp, children who were found to require heart surgery or other treatments were offered these services free of charge at Kochi's Amrita Hospital, as announced by hospital officials. The camp was organized in collaboration with the Genesis Foundation and HDFC ERGO.

The camp was led by Dr. Krishna Kumar, Head of the Department of Paediatric Cardiology along with a team of esteemed doctors, including Dr. Brijesh P. Kottayil, Dr. Balaji Srimurugan, Dr. Bala Ganesh, and Dr. Nishant from Amrita Hospital, Kochi.

This was the 10th camp organized in Tamil Nadu as part of a broader project to provide free heart surgeries to children from various states, coinciding with the 71st birthday of Mata Amritanandamayi. Similar camps had been previously organized in Virudhunagar, Nagercoil, and Tiruchirappalli.
