Overview
At Amrita Lasik service, we take every possible effort to make sure that the procedure is perfectly safe for your eyes.
Our ATLAS topography system detects early alterations in corneal shape, and the anterior segment OCT [Visante Omni] is capable of precisely measuring corneal thickness so that only the perfect candidates are chosen for laser vision correction. You have the perfect freedom to choose what is best for you after learning the options. Our infection control practices and safety standards are on par with the best in the world. Our hospital has NABH [National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers], NABL [National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration of Laboratories] and ISO 9001-2008 [International Organisation for standardization] accreditations.
Specialities
Affordability
Our highly efficient systems enable us to provide quality Lasik services at affordable cost.
Quality – You Can Trust
Wide Treatment Options
- A variety of treatment modalities are available, all of which can be personalized.
- Standard treatment for regular spectacle power correction.
- Wavefront guided treatment: wavefront measurement is done using WASCA analyzer, which is twenty-five to fifty times more detailed than spectacles or contact lens. Custom made correction of higher order aberrations can be done.
- Topography based correction can be done for grossly asymmetric corneas / in corneas which have already undergone laser refractive surgery.
Really fast
Thanks to its high frequency [250 hz] and automatic pupil recognition, the treatment time is exceptionally short and patients need to concentrate on the fixation light for only a few seconds, bringing down stress levels.
Everything Under Control
In a Lasik machine, the eye tracking system allows the laser beam to exactly follow the movements of the eye and does not allow it to fall anywhere other than where it is expected to land. The 1000 Hz eye tracker in Zeiss MEL 80 is one of the fastest eye trackers in the world and being coupled with iris registration ensures that exact treatment is delivered at the exact point.
