She has done her MBBS and MD from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune and has 31 years of experience as a medical professional and 22 years of experience as an Anesthesiologist. She also has a sound understanding of all sub-specialty Anaesthesia including, Transplant surgeries (Renal transplant and Liver Transplant) Robotic and laparoscopic surgeries, Neonatal and Paediatric surgery, Obstetric emergencies and Labour Analgesia, Laparoscopic Gynaecology surgeries. Dr. Garg has expertise in delivering Anesthesia for complex and high risk surgical procedures including Onco and Orthopaedics and Ultrasound guided Regional Blocks. Talking about awards and accolades, she is a President’s Gold Medal recipient and has been awarded Flag officer Commander in Chief Commendation in 2003 & 2006 for outstanding services in the Navy as an Anaesthesiologist.
