Dr. Anil Kumar Murarka is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He specializes in the field of Cleft & Craniofacial Surgery. He did his M.B.B.S. & M.S. (General Surgery) from Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur. He finished his M. Ch (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery) in 1993 from the prestigious Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. After completing his M.Ch. , Dr. Anil worked as Consultant in Department of Plastic Surgery in Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. He was recognized teacher of Panjab University, Chandigarh. At Christian Medical college, Ludhiana, Dr. Anil gained extensive experience in microsurgery- replants, free tissue transfers, aesthetic surgery, management of congenital anomalies , managing complex trauma cases and mass casualties. He was In charge of Burns unit also. 

He has been trained in India and abroad. He did his fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery from world renowned Australian Craniofacial Unit, Adelaide, SA in 1996-2000. During his more than 3 years tenure in the Australian Craniofacial Unit and Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide , Dr. Anil got wide exposure in managing Craniofacial cases and other subspecialties of Plastic surgery.After returning to India in the year 2000, he worked at various hospitals in Delhi including Safdarjung Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Max Hospital and BLK Max Superspeciality Hospital. Dr. Anil was Associate Director of Plastic surgery in BLK Max Surperspeciality Hospital.He has worked extensively in all fields of Plastic Surgery from facial cosmetic surgery to reconstruction of various body organs for over 29 years. However, his passion for Craniofacial surgery remains consistent.

He strongly believes in the concept of team work and has been working incessantly to build and bring a craniofacial team for his patients under one roof. At Amrita Hospital he aspires to further strengthen his team and deliver state-of-the-art facilities and results
