
On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Amrita Hospital Faridabad successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp at the Blood Centre (Blood Bank). The event brought together a community dedicated to saving lives through voluntary blood donation.
The camp commenced with a Pooja and inauguration ceremony at 10:30 AM. It saw an overwhelming response from donors, including both Amrita Hospital’s voluntary blood donors and outside contributors. The initiative highlighted the power of one blood donation to touch many lives and showcased the spirit of giving in its purest form.
Amrita Hospital extends its heartfelt gratitude to the following organizations and individuals for their significant contribution to the success of the camp:
Maa Donor Family: 22 donations
Mahavir International Social Foundation: 5 donations
Impact Guru Foundation (Mr. Ravi Shankar): 1 donation
Amrita Hospital Voluntary Blood Donors: 25 donations
Outside Blood Donors: 25 donations
A total of 78 donations were collected during the camp, thanks to the generosity of the donors, which will greatly support those in need of blood for medical procedures, emergencies, and life-saving treatments.
Dr. Prem Nair, Group Medical Director and Provost of Amrita Hospitals, along with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, commended the participants for their contribution to this noble cause and emphasized the importance of regular blood donations to help maintain an adequate blood supply for the community.
