
Amrita Hospital, in collaboration with Attappadi Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission and the Telemedicine Society of India – Kerala Chapter, organised a Stroke Medical Camp under the leadership of its Telemedicine Department.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Anand Kumar, Head of Neurology at Amrita Hospital and Vice Principal of Amrita School of Medicine. Dr. Vivek Nambiar, Head of the Stroke Department at Amrita Hospital, conducted an informative session on stroke awareness and management.
The event witnessed the presence and active participation of Dr. Narayanan, Medical Officer, Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission; Dr. Dinesh Nair, Head of Hospital Administration, Amrita Hospital; Dr. K.P. Sreekumar, Professor, Department of Veterinary Sciences; Dr. C. Sreekumar, Professor, Department of General Surgery; and Rajish M.V., Amrita Telemedicine Coordinator.
The initiative highlighted the role of telemedicine as a modern solution to deliver timely diagnosis and treatment to patients in remote and underserved regions, ensuring improved access to quality healthcare.
