The Amrita Advanced Centre for Robotic Surgery at Amrita hospital was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala, Sri Oommen Chandy, on March 02, 2015. Over 3800 robotic surgeries have been performed to date.

DA VINCI SURGICAL SYSTEM

  • Advanced robotic platform designed to expand the surgeon’s capabilities.
  • Integrated infrared imaging.
  • More than 900 robotic surgeries in the gynaecologic oncology department.
  • The centre has started day-care surgical programs since 2017.

ROSA (ROBOTIC SURGICAL ASSISTANT)

  • First healthcare facility in India and one of the first in all of Asia-Pacific to set up robotic technology for neurosurgery.

MAKO ROBOTIC-ARM ASSISTED KNEE AND HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY

  • Designed to provide a truly personalized surgical experience, tailored to the specific diagnosis and anatomy of each patient.
  • The cutting-edge technology helps to revolutionize the way joint replacement surgeries are performed and provide patients with a more effective and efficient treatment option. The team has performed over 500 Mako Robotic arm assisted partial / Total Knee replacements and total hip replacement surgeries.
