From the Desk of Nursing Director
Nursing Services
Nursing as a profession is unique by its nature of a high demand on the right kind of balance between the head (intelligence) and the heart (emotions). Every nurse irrespective of their role is facing with this challenge each day.
Under the Divine grace and guidance of Amma, Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, Nursing Services at Amrita Hospital constantly strive to develop and sustain this balance in each of our nurses, through excellent clinical exposure; an array of training, hand holding and mentoring; a system of obtaining and giving feedback, recognition, appreciation; and through opportunities provided for recognizing and enhancing abilities and talents.
Our patients are our inspiration and our colleagues are our resources of learning. Together with our patients and their relatives, medical and non medical professionals and other agencies we whole heartedly attempt to bring in a positive health care experience for those involved and work hand in hand to create a healthier and happier world.
