Amirta Hospitals, Faridabad, unveiled two advanced life support (ALS) ambulances, recently equipped with the help of Entero Healthcare at the Trauma Centre at their Sector 88 facility, to continue enhancing their capabilities for responding to emergency and critical care.

The event was attended by members of both institutions' senior leadership, including Mr. Prem Sethi, Founder of Entero Healthcare, who served as the event's Chief Guest. Also in attendance were Sampoojya Swami Nijamritananda Puri (Administrative Director, Amirta Hospitals, Faridabad) and Dr. Sanjeev K. Singh (Medical Director, Amirta Hospitals, Faridabad).

Key members of the leadership team at Entero Healthcare were also in attendance at the event with representatives from the Delhi-NCR local office of Samarthanam, a NGO who provided assistance in implementing and coordinating this initiative.

The enhanced ALS ambulances function as mobile critical care units and contain cutting-edge emergency-life-saving systems including ventilator assistance, cardiac monitoring, oxygen delivery systems, defibrillators, suction devices, and emergency medications. This initiative is designed to greatly enhance rapid medical responses to trauma, cardiac emergencies, strokes and patients who are critically ill and require rapid stabilization and transport.

At this event Mr. Prem Sethi stated, “The difference between life and death can sometimes be determined by access to healthcare and an appropriate timely emergency response. We are very fortunate to support Amrita Hospital in developing critical care mobility infrastructure that will ultimately positively impact many patients and families in this region. When I visited Amritapuri it was apparent that the philosophy of healthcare comes from compassion and I am very proud to be a part of such an important initiative.”

As Sampoojya Swami Nijamritananda Puri stated, "Emergency medical assistance isn't limited to just using technology; it's about reaching patients at their most vulnerable points in time with rapid response, proper planning, and compassionate service." The upgraded ambulances are part of Amrita Hospital's ongoing dedication to providing modern healthcare services capable of saving lives during dire emergencies.

On the other hand, Dr. Sanjeev K. Singh indicated that "Every second counts when it comes to treating illness; critically injured patients need intervention from emergency medical personnel before they arrive at the hospital." In addition, the upgraded ambulances have been put up to ensure that high standards of care can be provided prior to the patients’ arrival to the hospital, and this will also contribute towards the enhancement of the trauma and emergency medical response systems in our region.

As stated by Amrita Hospital officials, the upgrading of the ambulance fleet will lead to improved provision of comprehensive trauma and emergency healthcare services by Amrita, especially for patients with specialized healthcare needs in transit to the hospital.
