Dr. Maninder Singh Dhaliwal completed his MBBS in 2002 and MD (Paediatrics) in 2006 from Kasturba Medical College Manipal and Mangalore respectively. He worked subsequently as Assistant Professor, Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Nepal as pediatric intensive care lead. After further training at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi, he completed the Fellowship in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine (IAP-ISCCM) in 2010. He also holds a Diploma in Allergy and Asthma from Christian Medical College Vellore. He was responsible for establishing and functioning of the tertiary care PICU at Medanta – The Medicity from 2011-2022. His key areas of work include pediatric solid organ transplant (liver/kidney) and BMT ICU care, neuro-PICU, renal patients (CRRT/SLED), acute liver failure, in addition to septic and respiratory critically ill patients. He has over a decade’s experience in advanced pediatric critical services like ECMO, HFOV, CRRT, iNO, BIS, NIRS. He has conducted and participated as faculty in various international and national pediatric and PICU programmes and workshops. He is an accredited teacher of the College of Pediatric Critical Care (IAP), India.
