Dr. Veena Raghunanthan completed her MBBS from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai and MD (Paediatrics) in 2008 from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ group of hospitals, Mumbai. She completed her DNB Pediatrics ( National Board of Examinations) in 2010. She underwent training in pediatric intensive care at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for children, Mumbai and then completed the Fellowship of National Board(FNB) in Paediatric Intensive Care at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi in 2011. Thereafter she worked as a Senior Consultant, Pediatric Critical Care in Medanta, the Medicity, Gurugram for 11 years. Her key areas of expertise include basic and advanced respiratory support therapies, acute renal replacement therapies (including CRRT), acute critical infections and post-surgical PICU care. She has experience of managing over 300 pediatric liver transplant patients in post-op ICU period along with providing support to post kidney transplant and BMT sick patients. She has also been a faculty for fellowship programme and is an accredited teacher of the College of Pediatric Critical Care (IAP), India and is also a national PFCCS – INSTRUCTOR and IAP-ALS INSTRUCTOR.
