The cardiology team treats patients with cutting-edge care for a range of cardiovascular problems. A 24-hour emergency team offers quick access in cases of need for an immediate action. The Centre is fully equipped to provide intensive and multidisciplinary, comprehensive medical care for patients with complex, multiple disorders.

Pacing and Electrophysiology

• Temporary pacemaker insertion

• ICD implantation (single and dual)
• EP - study Radiofrequency ablation (RFA)- Supraventricular tachycardia and atrial tachycardia ablation

 Coronary Interventions

• 24 x7 primary angiography and stenting with medicated and US-FDA approved stents (radial and femoral route),
• IABP insertion
• Coronary angioplasties (radial and femoral)
• Image and Physiology guided coronary angiography and interventions (IVUS/OCT/FFR)
• Complex angioplasties (CHIP)- Rotablation /IVL(intravenous lithotripsy) /cutting balloon / bifurcation and left main interventions

Non-invasive Cardiology Lab

We have a full-fledged Non-invasive Cardiology Lab with state-of-the-art 3D echo lab facilities. The following tests are conducted:

• Treadmill Test.
• 2D and 3D Echocardiography 
• Strain imaging
• Exercise and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography (DSE)
• Contrast Echocardiography    
• Trans-Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
• Holter Monitoring (24 hours and extended), External loop recorder.
• Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (24 hrs. & 48 hrs.)
• Ankle-Brachial Index
• Head up Tilt Test

In house availability of Cardiac PET/PET CT and cardiac MRI enables us to provide the highest level of care for complex and/or advanced heart conditions.

Coronary Care Unit

We have a fully equipped, centrally monitored, 30-bedded CCU, which has a 24-hour emergency cardiac care facility, including defibrillation, pericardiocentensis, temporary pacing and intra-aortic balloon counterpulsation. We have cutting-edge cardiac monitoring technologies and a staff-to-bed ratio of 1:1. Our CCU has rapid access to cardiac catheterization laboratory.
