Dr. Vibhav Sharma

Dr. Vibhav Sharma is an interventional cardiologist with a total  experience of 8 years as a doctor. He has specialised in DM Cardiology from India’s premier institute – AIIMS Delhi, where he bagged the gold medal for being the best DM student in cardiology during his training period. Prior to that he pursued his training in MD General Medicine from the prestigious PGIMER Chandigarh.  

After finishing his training in cardiology, he continued to work at AIIMS Delhi in the cardiac catheterisation lab and gained experience in procedures such as basic and complicated angioplasties including primary angioplasty, rotablation, orbital atherectomy, intravascular lithotripsy, bifurcation angioplasty, left main angioplasty and CTO angioplasty. He has also performed bypass angioplasties. His angioplasties are guided by latest technologies such as IVUS, OCT and FFR. He has also been actively treating heart rhythm disturbances by means of specialized devices like pacemakers, ICDs and cardiac resynchronisation therapy. He also performs structural heart disease interventions like balloon mitral valvotomy, valvotomies of aortic and pulmonary valves and percutaneous closure of atrial septal defects.
