    Causes / Reasons

The exact cause of ADHD is unclear, and research continues. Genetics, the environment at home, school, and other spaces where children interact, problems with the central nervous system at key moments in development.

As of now, there is no single test used to diagnose ADHD. Diagnosis is generally based on the symptoms shown by the children regularly for more than six months in multiple settings. The information gathered from several sources, including schools, caregivers, and parents is used for diagnosis.

Medicines and behaviour therapy are usually required to control symptoms and help the child to focus.
