Amrita Hospital, Kochi, has been officially recognized by Einstein World Records for its invaluable contribution to the largest synchronized training session ever conducted on a single topic, on the same day, and at the same time across three consecutive days. The event, organized by the Association of Nurse Executives (India) (ANEI), set a new world record for training 15,718 registered nurses across 14 states in India.

The three-day training initiative, which took place on April 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2025, was focused on preventing medication administration errors, a crucial aspect of patient safety. A total of 254 nursing trainers contributed to this monumental event, with Amrita Hospital, Kochi proudly training 1,061 nurses in just three days. The training not only enhanced the knowledge of the nurses but also instilled an oath of commitment to patient safety, continuous learning, and collaboration within the healthcare profession.

Under the leadership of Sai Bala M, Director of Nursing at Amrita Hospital, Kochi, the initiative was guided with exceptional dedication and vision. Her leadership has been instrumental in establishing Amrita Hospital as a leader in healthcare training and patient safety. The trainers, including Radhika Mohandas, Akhilesh Raj T N, Anusree C. P. from the Nursing Quality Division, and Lt Col (Dr) Ajee K. L., Anisha Vadakkepatt, and Suja Kumari S. from Amrita College of Nursing, played a vital role in delivering high-quality training to the nurses.

This remarkable achievement underscores Amrita Hospital, Kochi's commitment to patient safety, professional development, and nursing excellence. As the only hospital in India to train over 1,000 nurses in this vital initiative, the hospital continues to set new benchmarks in healthcare training and education.
