Amrita Hospital, Kochi, in collaboration with the Kerala Society of Ophthalmic Surgeons (KSOS), successfully conducted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) program aimed at enhancing the diagnostic and management skills of ophthalmologists. The program attracted over 200 doctors from across the region, marking it as a significant event for knowledge sharing and professional development in eye care. 

The CME was inaugurated by Dr. Biju John, Honorary Secretary of KSOS, and featured expert sessions led by eminent faculty, including Dr. Rajshekjar, Chennai, Dr. Gopal Pillai, HOD, Amrita Hospital, Dr. Bastin V.A., Scientific Committee Chairman, KSOS, and Dr. Sudha, HOD, Medical College, Thrissur. More than 25 faculty members delivered talks covering a wide range of topics, including advanced diagnostics, patient management strategies, and emerging trends in ophthalmic care. 

The event provided a robust platform for young ophthalmologists to enhance their clinical acumen, engage with leading experts, and stay updated on the latest developments in patient care, reinforcing Amrita Hospital’s commitment to fostering excellence in medical education and professional collaboration.
