Dr. Mithun.C. B. did his undergraduate training from Govt. Medical College, Thrissur, and post graduation in General Medicine from Govt. Medical College, Trivandrum. He completed his super specialty training (DM) in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in 2013. He has also cleared the Specialty Certificate Examination in Rheumatology by the Royal College of Physicians London and BSR in 2014.He served as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Clinical Immunology, JIPMER, from September 2013 to March 2015. He has published various research articles in national and international journals. His areas of special interest are SLE, rheumatoid arthritis, SPA, psoriatic arthritis and primary immunodeficiency.
