Preparation instructions for an endoscopic procedure will be provided to you in advance. This typically involves fasting for a certain period before the procedure, following specific dietary restrictions, and discontinuing certain medications. Your healthcare team will provide detailed instructions tailored to your procedure and individual needs.

The long-term effects of digestive diseases and treatments can vary depending on the specific condition and its management. Some conditions may require ongoing monitoring and management to prevent complications or disease progression. Your specialist will discuss the potential long-term effects and provide guidance on how to manage them effectively.

In many cases, lifestyle modifications can play a significant role in managing digestive diseases. Your specialist may recommend dietary changes, regular exercise, stress management techniques, and other lifestyle adjustments to support your treatment plan. These modifications can help alleviate symptoms, promote healing, and improve overall well-being.
