A multidisciplinary conference, INUS Neuro – Urology update 2025, endorsed by the International Neuro Urology Society (INUS) was hosted at Amrita Hospital, Kochi. The 2 day event brought together renowned urology, neurology, physiatry and gastroenterology specialists from Kerala, as well as neighboring states such as Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Anand Kumar, Head of the Department of Neurology at Amrita Hospital, Kochi.

As part of the conference, various sessions were held on topics such as neurogenic bladder, pelvic floor dysfunction, and urodynamics. Notable international experts from London including Prof. Jalesh Panicker, Dr. Prasad Malladi, and Dr. Jagrati Gupta shared their experience. Newer treatment modalities such as sacral neuromodulation were also discussed.

Doctors from Amrita Hospital’s Pelvic Dysfunction Clinic, including Dr. Kannan Nair (Urology), Dr. Udit Saraf (Neurology), Dr. Ravi Sankaran (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation), and Dr. Shine Sadasivan (Gastroenterology) also participated in the conference.
