Dr. Sundeep Vijayaraghavan, distinguished Professor and Head of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is renowned for his expertise and leadership in advancing surgical innovation and patient care. He attained his MCh in Plastic Surgery from Mahatma Gandhi University in 2004 and became a Diplomate of the National Board, New Delhi in Plastic and reconstructive Surgery. Since then, he has been an integral part of the team at Amrita Hospital, Kochi. He has a pivotal role in establishing the aesthetic surgery unit. With a keen focus on body contouring, fillers and toxins, post-weight loss body contouring, sex reassignment surgery (including facial feminisation), gynecomastia correction, breast augmentation and reduction, and facial plastic surgery, Dr. Sundeep Vijayaraghavan has contributed numerous articles on aesthetic surgical procedures to peer-reviewed journals. Additionally, he initiated the aesthetic surgery fellowship program for plastic surgeons at AIMS and conducted live operative workshops at national conferences, along with hosting several hair transplant workshops across different locations
