Dr. Rajashree K. C graduated from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. She did her post-graduation in Anaesthesiology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and took the Fellowship in Palliative Medicine from Institute of Palliative Medicine, which is a WHO collaborating centre for community participation in palliative care and long term care.
She worked as anaesthesiologist in Kerala State Health Services for two years and joined the palliative care NGO in Government Medical College, Kozhikode in 1999. She actively participated in both clinical and academic activities of the organisation. As part of the community activities, she had involved in training programmes in palliative care across the State for the doctors, nurses and volunteers.
She joined the Department of Palliative Medicine, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences as Assistant Professor in 2020
