Dr. Poduval Devika Vijayan

Dr. Poduval Devika Vijayan serves as an Assistant Professor at Amrita Hospital, Kochi, specializing in anesthesia for adult cardiac and thoracic surgeries, trans-oesophageal echocardiography, anesthesia for Cath-lab procedures, and regional anesthesia for cardiac and thoracic surgeries. She is also skilled in the postoperative critical care management of patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgeries. Shev has been recognized with the First Prize for her paper presentation on "3D Quantification of Mitral Regurgitation by Transoesophageal Echocardiography" at a national conference. She has co-authored a case report on "Cardiac Tamponade after Video Assisted Thoracoscopy Surgical Diaphragmatic Plication," published in the Annals of Thoracic Surgery short reports in March 2024.
