Dr. Jes Jose

Dr. Jes Jose is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiac Anaesthesiology and Critical Care at Amrita Hospital, Kochi. He has been serving in this role since July 2024. With a specialization in anaesthesia for cardiac surgeries and critical care, Dr. Jes has co-authored over 50 publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals, and contributed to two textbook chapters on cardiac critical care. He also serves as an invited reviewer for prestigious medical journals, including the Journal of Clinical Anesthesia and Journal of Critical Care.

• Published more than 50 PubMed-indexed articles in prestigious journals, including The British Journal of Anaesthesia (BJA), Anesthesia & Analgesia (A&A), The Journal of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesia (JCVA), Heart & Lung (H&L), and many more
• Served as an invited reviewer for multiple international journals, such as The Journal of Critical Care and The European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery
• Reviewer for papers at ACC.25 (American College of Cardiology) and scientific committee member for IACTACON 2025
• Doctor on duty for the Government of India during visits by foreign heads of state, including presidents and prime ministers, and for the W.H.O SEAR conference in New Delhi
