Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, organized a special Organ Donation Awareness in collaboration with Intas Pharma, as part of the nationwide Organ Donation Month initiatives. Led by Dr. Harsha Mandadi Varadaraju from the Department of Renal Sciences and Nephrology, the event aimed to educate patients and their families about the life-saving potential of organ donation and inspire hope among those undergoing dialysis. The program featured insightful sessions highlighting the importance of organ donation and its transformative impact on patients with organ failure. Two recent transplant recipients shared their personal journeys, narrating the challenges faced during dialysis, the relief and renewed life after transplantation, and their gratitude toward donors, families, and the medical team. The collaboration with Intas Pharma emphasized the role of public-private partnerships in promoting health awareness. The event successfully created a supportive and motivating environment, reinforcing Amrita Hospital’s commitment to patient care, community engagement, and spreading awareness about organ donation across Faridabad and the surrounding region.
