Amrita Hospital, Faridabad joined hands with Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) to elevate the academic experience for students at Manav Rachna, offering them invaluable opportunities for growth and success in the dynamic healthcare landscape. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between both the entities with an aim to empower the future of healthcare professionals while fostering innovation within the industry.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Jayakesh Nair, Chief People Officer (CPO) and Mr. Ram Ganapathi, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CMO) from Amrita Hospital, along with Mr. R K Arora, Registrar, MRIIRS and Dr. Sangeeta Banga Pro-VC, MRU. The MoU signing ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Rajiv Kapoor, Managing Director & CEO of MREI, and key dignitaries including Prof. (Dr.) Gauri Bhasin, COO, MRVPL; Dr. Naresh Grover, PVC, MRIIRS; Dr. Pardeep Kumar, PVC, MRIIRS; Dr. G.L. Khanna, PVC, MRIIRS; Mr. Atul Kalra, Director, Admin; Prof. (Dr.) Hanu Bhardwaj, Director, CDC; Ms. Rakhi Pruthi, GM & Head, CRC; Dr. Shalini Khatri, Head Corporate Outreach & Relations and Mr. Anil Jain. This collaboration marks the inception of a groundbreaking partnership aimed at transforming healthcare education and providing students with unparalleled opportunities for growth and success.

Dr. Sanjeev Singh, Medical Director, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad said, “The Campus Internship Program for undergraduate and postgraduate students of Manav Rachna opens an opportunity to collaborate between two large universities, discuss optimisation of curriculum and resources, and jointly explore jointly academic areas as well as research agenda. The initiative aims at providing students with hands-on experience in various aspects of healthcare management and operations. This partnership will also support ‘Skill Development,’ where Amrita Hospital will actively contribute to the skill enhancement of students by periodically updating internship criteria to align with industry standards. This commitment ensures that students have the new-age knowledge and expertise required to excel in their respective fields.”

Upon successful completion of the internship, students from MREI will stand a chance to receive extensions with Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs), contingent upon their performance and the staffing needs of Amrita Hospital, Faridabad.

MREI and Amrita Hospital are also poised for a collaborative endeavor focused on fostering the exchange of innovative ideas to elevate and enhance the Sports Science Centre. This partnership seeks to combine the expertise of both institutions, advancing sports science education and research. With a shared commitment to excellence, the initiative aims to create a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, propelling the Sports Science Centre to new heights in academia and healthcare impact.
