After finishing her M.B.B.S from Sri Ramachandra Medical college and Research Institute, Chennai she did her training in General surgery from Amrita Institute of Medical sciences, Kochi.
She completed her super specialisation in Plastic and reconstructive surgery from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences , Kochi. She is a trained reconstructive microvascular surgeon and has undergone extensive training in onco- reconstruction , lymphoedema management, hand surgery, trauma, lower limb reconstruction. She was a part of hand transplant team that started double hand transplant surgery in India. She was also a part of online teaching platform - Plastiquest during her MCh training period.
