Dr. Shikha Gupta is an internationally acclaimed plastic surgeon with extensive experience in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. She is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to every patient.
She graduated with distinction in MBBS from Seth G.S.Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. After completing her MS (General Surgery) from Grant Medical College and Sir J J Hospital, Mumbai, she completed her MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
After which, she completed her MCh in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. She secured a gold medal from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences as she secured 1st rank in the university in MCh examination.
To further develop her clinical expertise, she then undertook specialist fellowships in United Kingdom.
She was selected as an International Training Fellow in Microsurgery at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (NNUH), Norwich, England. NNUH is a famous teaching hospital in the East of England. During her stint in the UK, she underwent extensive training in both reconstructive surgery (including microsurgery) and all areas of aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery.
During this time, she also studied for and secured the prestigious Fellow of Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) of Edinburgh. She is one of the select few groups of plastic surgeons to have been awarded this honour.
Recognizing her talent, skill, and aptitude, she was unanimously selected as a consultant in plastic and reconstructive surgery in the UK. She has experience in all areas of plastic surgery, but her main interests are in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery of breast and head and neck reconstruction. She is passionate about bringing state-of-the-art screening and treatment options for breast cancer.
She was involved in teaching and clinical training of plastic surgery trainees during her tenure as a consultant in the UK.
