Dr. Gaurav Khanna is a renowned histopathologist with keen interest in the field of Oncopathology, Neuropathology and Hepatopathology. He is an alumnus of one of the oldest Medical colleges of the country “Government Medical College, Amritsar”. He has been trained in the Country’s most prestigious institute, All India Institute of Medical Sciences where he served the department of Histopathology as a Senior Resident and worked with his mentors who are stalwarts in their fields and is following their foot steps. He feels proud to be a student of Dr. M.C Sharma and Dr. K.S Chahal. Following his senior residency at AIIMS New Delhi, he also completed his fellowship in hepatopathology from India’s only Liver Dedicated institute, “Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences”.
He served as consultant in Fortis Memorial Research Institute Gurugram, for three years, where he experienced the entire spectrum of Histopathology while working with well renowned surgeons and kept his enthusiasm in teaching alive by taking lectures at several platforms of National and International fame. He is known for his keen observation under the microscope and his dedication to work with all his strength in the service of patients. He has several publications and awards in national and International Journals. He believes and promotes the potential of India in advanced medical education in the field of Pathology owing to the vast population and spectrum of diseases.
