Dr. Deepak G. Udapudi

Dr. Deepak G. Udapudi is a Compassionate Clinician and an Eminent General & Laparoscopic Surgeon. He has 33 years of vast Clinical Experience including 30 years of Teaching Experience. He is an Alumnus of Prestigious Institutions like J N Medical College Belgaum (UG) & J J M Medical College Davangere (PG), Karnataka. He was awarded the University Gold Medal in his M S Examination.

Dr. Deepak had the Honour of Serving under King Edward Hospital, Mumbai. He won the Best Rural Surgeon Award during his Practice in Rural area of Karnataka.

Dr. Deepak has served as a faculty for 25years in various capacities from Lecturer to Professor & Head in the Department of General Surgery at the Prestigious J J M Medical College Davangere. Being a Passionate Teacher for Undergraduates & Postgraduates, he has guided them in ICMR Projects and Thesis. He has developed his own Formats for Surgical Case Presentations.  He has 4 National and 14 International Publications to his credit. He has also been an active Resource Person in the Medical Education Unit.

Dr. Deepak has performed a vast number of Major and Supra major Surgeries and Laparoscopic Procedures. His areas of interest are Thyroid, Breast and various Hernia. Laparoscopic Hernia Repair is his area of special interest.

Dr. Deepak has been an Invited Faculty as a Speaker in Karnataka State level CMEs and Conferences. He has also been a Judge for Scientific Paper Sessions in State and National Conferences and attended many State and National Surgery Conferences.
