Dr Pradeep Sharma is an accomplished Neurosurgeon who has trained at various high volume centres of repute. He has been involved in the super speciality training in different capacities after completing Masters in General surgery in 2012 from University college of Medical Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital. He worked as Senior Resident in Department of Neurosurgery at UCMS & GTBH before joining the prestigious Sanjay Gandhi Post graduate institute of Medical sciences in 2013. During his time at SGPGIMS he had the opportunity to work with and learn from acknowledged names in neurosurgery with exposure to various subspecialties especially the neuro endoscopy and cerebrovascular procedures of Neurosurgery. He worked as a fellow in Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery at SGPGIMS, Lucknow and holds a fellowship in Neuroendoscopy surgery (Brain & Spine) from NSCB Medical college, Jabalpur which is a high volume centre for endoscopic surgeries. He joined as Assistant Professor in Neurosurgery at Safdarjung Hospital in 2017 where he stayed on for 2 years performing brain and spine surgeries for his patients and collaborating with fellow consultants in Neurosurgery for result oriented procedures. The work schedule involved teaching and supervising surgeries for Resident training programme. He Joined Fortis Escorts Hospital and later moved to Manipal Hospital, Dwarka providing neurosurgical services to both domestic and international patients. He is presently working as Consultant, Assistant Professor Neurosurgery at Amrita Hospital with focus on building up Neuro-endoscopy, Minimally Invasive brain and Cerebrovascular Surgery.
