Dr. Praachi Singh is a skilled neonatologist with expertise in neonatal resuscitation, managing preterm, extremely low birth weight and critically ill babies with a keen focus on evidence-based care and neurodevelopmental outcomes. She is well-versed in neonatal ventilation, central line placement, point of care ultrasound (POCUS) and other essential neonatal procedures. Additionally, she is adept at providing comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care for neonates undergoing complex surgical interventions.
She completed her Pediatrics training at Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital, Chennai and holds a DM in Neonatology from the esteemed Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry. Her dedication to quality improvement in neonatal care led her to spearhead a successful project at JIPMER, promoting the early initiation of breastfeeding post-delivery. She has further enriched her clinical acumen by participating in numerous specialized workshops and completing an elective rotation in the Division of Neonatology at AIIMS, New Delhi during her training.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Praachi is passionate about teaching and research. She has authored publications in indexed journals, contributed chapters to medical textbooks and presented at national and state conferences. As a certified instructor for both basic and advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) courses, she is committed to mentoring future neonatologists and advancing neonatal healthcare through continuous learning and collaborative research.
