Overview
Dr. Krishnanunni Nair, Clinical Associate Professor, Department of Solid Organ Transplantation and HPB, has to his credit 10 years of expertise in solid organ transplant and HPB. He has been directly involved in the evolution of and ongoing development of the robotic donor hepatectomy technique at Amrita Hospital, Kochi. He successfully completed his MS in General Surgery and M.Ch in Surgical Gastroenterology from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amrita institute of medical sciences. He has been part of the surgical team since 2012 being involved with the development of liver, pancreas and intestinal transplantation in Kerala. Has also been active in minimal invasive and robotic HPB surgery. He is active in clinical and basic research with many publications in prestigious international journals. Is very passionate about making transplantation and robotic surgery available to a wider population.
