One-to-one with Prof. Vincent Gregorie

The Department of Radiation Oncology, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad organized a Continous Medical Education(CME) program. The event was chaired by world-renowned Radiation Oncologist, Prof. Vincent Gregoire from Leon Cancer Bernard Center, France. He gave a detailed talk on Imaging H&N tumor and target volume delineation and radiation and immunotherapy in head and neck cancers. This was the first CME conducted after the launch of the hospital. Around 35 medical faculties from different hospitals participated in the program. Prof.Vincent Gregoire coordinates the Head and Neck Oncology program where the publication of the consensus guidelines for selection and delineation of the target volumes brought him worldwide recognition. Besides his clinical activities, has been running a translational research program on tumor microenvironments, the integration of functional and molecular imaging for treatment planning, and the molecular basis of increased radiosensitivity in HPV-infected cells. He has co-directed 15 Ph.D. theses, co-authored 254 peer-reviewed publications and 16 book chapters.
