The Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Amrita Hospital Faridabad is a center of excellence and is a one of its kind, state of the art department providing the best, Respiratory, Critical care, sleep disorders and Allergy services in this part of the country. Besides Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU), it has got a well-equipped Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Laboratory, Bronchoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology Unit, ILD clinic, Asthma clinic, Sleep Lab and sleep clinic, Smoking cessation clinic as well as a vast array of other facilities that are available for patient care and research. This is the only respiratory center in Delhi NCR with all DM superspecialist faculty, who have been trained at and have served as faculty at the top institutions of the country and abroad.

The department offers comprehensive Pulmonary, Sleep and allergy from Monday to Saturday (9AM -5PM). The OPD is manned exclusively by all post DM Pulmonary medicine faculty, who have all been trained at apex institutes of the country and abroad.

We are the most advanced Pulmonary, sleep and allergy centre in the region. The departmental faculty have made a mark in the field of Pulmonary medicine, not only in India, but also overseas. This is the only department in the region where all faculty are DM trained superspecialists. The department is equipped with the most advanced and latest cutting-edge technology which is not available anywhere else in the region. 

The department prides itself in having the most advanced lung function laboratory of the region. Advanced lung function tests like Body boxy plethysmography, Impulse oscillometry, FENO, Cardio pulmonary exercise testing are all available under one roof at the most reasonable prices. 

The interventional pulmonology suite is perhaps the most advanced and comprehensive set up, available anywhere in the country. Complicated airway, pleural and other pulmonary procedures are done routinely with excellent success rates. 

The respiratory critical care services provided by our team are at par with the best global standards. ICU outcomes of patients with severe and complex respiratory disorders, have consistently been excellent. We routinely manage patients with advanced respiratory failure with the latest rescue modes of management. 

The department has a comprehensive allergy laboratory, which routinely performs skin and blood based allergy tests. The kits have been prepared by keeping the prevalent allergy profiles of the region in mind.
